Encouraging the youth to have the courage to follow their aspirations, BIG DREAM educates them to be adventurous. The youth are guided to step out of their comfort zone and discover what they are capable of by practicing the core belief “Go for your dream and be yourself!” that the Gamania Cheer Up Foundation has tried to promote.
2018 Iceland Cross-country Polar Skiing

For this challenge, you would need 15% physique, 5% energy, and a whopping 80% mentality.
In Iceland, it was all white as far as the eye could see, and in order to achieve this dream, you would need more courage and willpower than imaginable.

2016 Climbing through the Central Range of Taiwan

With the young participants being completely cut off from the world and experiencing an entirely new way of life, this challenge was not just about stamina; all the rewards from this trip were from the mountains themselves.

2015 Kayak: Challenging Mysteries Eastern Taiwan

Invited to dream big and brave the open waters together, the six youths were carefully selected and then went through a series of drills to finally set off on a trip in kayaks from Beibin in Hualian to one of the coolest islets in the world. This challenge spanned the course of five days and a distance of nearly 200 km!

2014 Leaving the Surface: The First Locally-Trained PPL Pilots

In this challenge, we encouraged the youths to achieve their dreams and soar into the sky by taking off the surface of the Earth. In Taiwan, flying in the sky is no longer a dream; the Cheer Up Foundation and the APEX Flight Academy teamed up to recruit youths who dared to challenge themselves and step out of their comfort zone.

2012 Cycling around Taiwan (Video)

Adhering to our belief that young people should “go for their dreams and be themselves”, we keep caring for the youth and creating opportunities for young entrepreneurs to follow their dreams.
In 2012, we carried out a special project – cycling around Taiwan.
Under extreme weather and road conditions, 13 teenagers completed the 1111 km around the island.

Ever since Gamania Cheer Up Foundation was established, we have kept caring for the youth and creating opportunities for young entrepreneurs to follow their dreams by adhering to our belief that young people should “go for their dreams and be themselves.”
This year, we particularly planned a cycling trip around Taiwan!

2011 Sailing Engine-free (Video)

In a venture spanning 72 hours and 966 km, a team of 10 youths relied on nothing but their own strength to sail engine-free from Hong Kong to Taiwan (06/09-06/11/2011).
During the trip, the team ran into the Tropical Storm Sarika, which made the trip even more unforgettable!

Get out there and find the courage to pursue your dreams! This is the record of a venture spanning 72 hours and 966 km when a team of 10 youths relied on nothing but their own strength to sail engine-free from Hong Kong to Taiwan, crossing the notorious “Black Ditch” on their way.

2008 Beyond the Arctic (Extended Trailer)

In 2008, a call for even more youths to follow their dreams and test their limits was made.
Chairman Albert of the foundation organized the “Gamania Foundation Dream Team” with the ultramarathon runners Kevin Lin and Tommy Chen and set out for the brutal Arctic environment in the ultimate battle against the elements!
The entire trip was documented by the renowned director Li-Chou Yang.
